Before DUOPOEM, There Was Us
One in Vancouver. The other in Toronto. Over 3,300 kilometres apart, separated by a five-hour flight.
For an entire year, we learned what it meant to love someone from a distance — the late-night calls, the countdowns, and the little moments we wished we could share together.
During that time, we exchanged small keepsakes that reminded us of each other. They couldn't replace being together, but they made the distance feel a little smaller.
In 2024, we finally closed the distance. But we never forgot how much those little reminders meant to us.
